Can you help design my new bathroom?
Yes - our specialist showroom staff are only too happy to give professional advice and help you design your dream bathroom.
We use the latest Virtual Worlds software to make a model of your prospective bathroom so you can see exactly how your new bathroom suite will look in your home before it's even left our showroom.
Questions we may ask you
Are your internal walls solid or partition walls?
We need to know this as it may affect installation and the type of procucts required.
Are you sure about the number of wall or floor tiles you require?
We ask that you installer checks the number of tiles needed. We can only give an approximate quantity of tiles and do not accept returned tiles.
What sort of water system do you currently have installed?
We need to know what sort of water system you currently have installed.
Do you have a combi boiler, system boiler, gravity fed system or unvented system etc.
Can your WC be moved if required?
In order to maximise spave in your bathroom it may be a good idea to move the WC.
Is this possible or are there limitations which will hamper repositioning?
Are there any limitations to the type of cistern needed for your WC?
Certain cisterns require a cold water feed to the rear or side of the unit.
Would a cistern such as this be unsuitable for your bathroom?
We need to know in order to provide you with the right product to suit your requirements.
Installation
Do you supply only or will you also install?
We supply your bathroom products and can suggest a qualified James Hargreaves certified contractor to install your bathroom suite. Alternatively we are happy to liaise with a contracter of your choice.
Showroom
Are the products on display in the showroom the only ones available?
We can supply every bathroom suite and product from every one of our top brand suppliers.
If we do not have what you're looking for on display in our showroom then we will be happy to order it for you.

Is there easy parking and access to your showrooms?
Our Burnley and Stockton showrooms have their own large car parks, while our Sheffield showroom is situated in a commercial area with plenty of parking spaces in the area.
All our showrooms have excellent access for prams, pushchairs and wheelchairs.
Bathroom Suites
How long are your bathrooms guaranteed for?
It depends on the manufacturer. All bathrooms come with a 12 month guarantee but some manufacters extend this warranty period.
Showering
Do you supply bespoke shower enclosures?
If you give us the specifications we can supply the shower enclosure of your choice built to fit your circumstances by a range of leading manufacturers.
Please note that bespoke goods cannot be returned to James Hargreaves unless they are faulty or damaged in transit during delivery.
Do you supply custom showers with body jets?
We will supply our customers with products to their own specifications within our suppliers' ranges. We aim to be as flexible as possible in order to give the customer what thet want.
Payment
Once you have checked your order details a 25% deposit is required. Full payment is required before delivery of your goods. We must be informed of any restrictions prior to delivery.
What payment options are available?
We accept cash, cheque and all major credit and debit cards.
Delivery
We offer free local delivery from all our plumbing depots. Local delivery is to be defined by us at James Hargreaves. Any subsequent deliveries may be charged at our discretion.
Deliveries which are not local to any of our branches will be charged at our discretion. Delivery charges will be based on the value of the order and the distance they are to be delivered.
What time will you deliver my goods?
No specific delivery times can be given but we can call to confirm the delivery before we arrive.
Will the delivery driver need any help?
One driver will deliver your purchase directly to your door. Large items such as baths, shower enclosures and shower trays etc may require somebody on site to assist the driver in dropping off the goods.
All baths, shower trays and mirrors/ mirror cabinets will require inspection on delivery.
How many days have I got to check my goods?
All claims for damaged or non delivered items must me made within three working days, as stated in our terms and conditions.
What if I want to cancel an order or return an item?
Any bespoke items which are ordered to customer specifications such as bathroom furniture, radiators and towel warmers or shower enclosures cannot be cancelled once they are ordered from the manufacturer.
Items which are not required once they have been receieved by James Hargreaves or deliverd by us to the customer may only be returned with the manufacturer's/ supplier's authorisation. In this instance any returns generally incur a re-stocking charge.
Any items returned must be complete in their original packaging and in full re-saleable condition. Credit will be given once James Hargreaves receives credit from the manufacturer.
James Hargreaves will deliver nationwide depending on the size and value of the order.
